Our online PhD programs prepare you to lead, teach or consult in the field of business management from an informed and strategic perspective. Our flexible curriculum allows you to shape your education around personal, career and organizational goals. Completing your PhD with a general business specialization will give you the expertise to lead, consult or teach from an informed, strategic viewpoint. Our online program offers you the option of elective course work in management areas such as finance, marketing and operations, plus additional course options in more specialized areas including human resource management, information technology management and leadership. Residency Requirements: As a doctoral learner you will attend residential colloquia in addition to your online courses. Taken during specific milestones in your program, you will attend three colloquia, each one week in length. You may be eligible for transfer of up to 48 credits.  About Capella UniversityAdmissions requirements vary by program and specialization. International applicants residing outside the United States, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands are not eligible for acceptance into programs requiring supervised clinical internships or practical within the Schools of Human Services and Psychology. Capella participates in several federal financial aid programs including the Federal Pell Grant Program and Federal Stafford Loan Program. Capella is also eligible to certify Veterans Educational Benefits and can provide information on other non-federal loan programs. |
