The Child/Adolescent Psychology graduate program provides training in core areas of adolescent psychological development, including development of the whole child from birth through adolescence, family studies, and research design and methodology. In our Family Systems program, students gain the vital knowledge required to assist adolescents and families in a socioeconomic, cultural, and psychological framework. Our faculty, composed of experienced practitioners, augment the coursework by bringing their professional and personal experiences into an online, virtual classroom setting. This format allows working professionals to increase their skills and credentials without sacrificing their other responsibilities. ![]() The Chicago SchoolThe Chicago School was established by practicing psychologists committed to providing high-quality professional psychology training in a not-for-profit setting. Also in 1980, the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA) awarded Candidate for Accreditation Status to The Chicago School, with accreditation status first awarded in 1984. Several master's degree programs have been implemented since 2001: clinical psychology with two separate specializations: counseling and applied behavior analysis, industrial/organizational psychology and forensic psychology.
