During their tenure in the HOD doctoral program, students discover the joy of pursuing their own research questions and sharing the challenges and passions of learning as adults. This degree emphasizes organizational, community and social systems, as informed by organization and management studies, systems theories, and related social science fields. Students examine social change in business, nonprofit, government and community settings using various forms of qualitative, quantitative and action-oriented inquiry.
