The master's distance learning program is specifically structured for the working educational professional and has been designed and developed by experienced faculty with a deep knowledge of teaching and learning and the school improvement process. This MA program allows you to complete your coursework and interact with instructors and other learners through GW's unique distance learning format. Students are assigned their own personal advisor to help them through the program, and a 24-hour, 7-day a week help desk is available to answer any technical questions you may have. The MA program is fully accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education. GW has adopted the standards developed by the Educational Leadership Constituent Council(ELCC). ELCC standards balance the political, managerial and instructional roles of principals and require that GW shows performance-based evidence that our curriculum and internship experiences meet the standards.
