The NEC online Master of Science in Management/Health care Administration Concentration (MSHCA) program was developed by industry leaders, respected academic mentors and program development experts committed to preparing the next generation of leaders in the health care industry. Its focus is to provide a specialized degree for health care professionals who want to advance their career and engage in more senior management activities and responsibilities. The MSHCA degree is awarded upon successful completion of 11 courses comprising 36 credits. Students take one course during each 7-week term, enabling most students to finish the MSHCA program in less than two years. The curriculum will challenge you to identify and overcome obstacles to strategic thinking; develop a framework for creating strategic solutions; and acquire the leadership skills that contribute to managing change and uncertainty in health care organizations and their environments.
