The Bachelor of Science in General Studies distance learning program provides individuals a degree completion option in adult education and training. This specialization is for students interested in developing the skills and knowledge to teach and organize training programs at the adult and/or corporate levels. Students enrolled in this distance learning program must earn 128 semester-hour credits, 39 of which must be completed through Saint Joseph's College. The 18 semester-hour credits required for a specialization must be taken through Saint Joseph's College. In keeping with its liberal arts tradition, the general education requirement of 45 semester-hour credits provides students with exposure to the humanities, including art, music, history, literature, philosophy and theology; the social sciences, including psychology and sociology; and the natural sciences.
